5 Facts about SAVY!

I've never done this before, but I guess my kids have been tagged. And, since two of my sweet friends tagged them I guess I better get on it!

Five things you wouldn't know about Savannah:

1. She has the squishiest nose I have ever seen!! I think there is no cartilage in the tip of her nose! She can push it almost flat against her face. (I think that came from Brandon's side!)

2. If Savannah could she would eat spicy chips (sunchips) and applesauce for every meal!
And, she LOVES sauces!! Thanks to Uncle Jake she was introduced at a very young age to Ketchup and BBQ sauce. Now when she has fries and chicken nuggest she has to have a little bit of both. And, if left unattended with the BBQ sauce from McDonalds she will just drink it from the container!!!

3. Savannah loves to sing! She knows all the words, and is pretty good with the tunes, of I am A Child Of God, Teach Me, I Love To See The Temple, Families are Forever, Book of Mormon Stories, Popcorn Popping, Nightengale (from Cinderella), Head Shoulders Knees and Toes, and of course, the theme song from The Little Einsteins.

4. Savannah loves order. She loves to put things away. Infact, it is hard when I want to buy her something at the store because she finds something she wants and carries it around with her and then just before checking out she has to go put it back on the shelf where we got it.

5. She doesn't like to be alone. She loves friends! And, Savannah absolutely adores her grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins!

Her laugh and smile melt her mom and dad's hearts!!!

Little Miss NO FEAR!

Savannah has found her birthday present for next year. She thinks that her parents are actually going to sell her brother and buy her one of those big slides from Sams Club. She absolutely loves it! We are so grateful that the neighbors were able to fit one into their budget so we wouldn't
have to!!

She even started going down head first on her tummy!!! If that wasn't enough to scare her mother, she and her friends decided that the place where you climb up would make a great slide. They would slide down and bounce on the air pocket at the bottom and then bounce into the water.

Did I mention that she is only 2 1/2!!

Dare I ask . . . what will she be doing at 5!?!?!?!

Favorite Princesses

Poor boy is not even a month old and he has already been forced into playing
princesses with his sister!

I was cleaning up the house and Savy was playing by Christopher. When I stopped to check what was going on Savannah informed me that Christopher has TWO favorite princesses. Apparently, he LOVES Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. And, according to Savannah, he likes them to sleep by him. Her excitement about playing princesses with her brother will change quickly once he gets mobile and is biting their heads off!

Christopher is here!

Our family of three is now a family of four!! Christopher joined us Monday July 28th at 4:12 a.m. He was 8 lbs 13 ozs, and 20 1/2 inches long. Like his sister he is so SWEET, and has lots of dark hair!

Savannah loves her little brother and is always so worried about him. She is so helpful and loves to be involved in all the baby stuff.
Her favorite thing about her baby brother, "I love his cute eyes."

Brandon is so proud of his son! We are so grateful that Christopher is so healthy, and (most of the time) a good sleeper!!

Ice Cream!!

If there was any doubt that Savannah was my daughter this picture should clear it up. Not only does the girl love ice cream, cake, basically anything sweet, cottage cheese, chips, and sauces but she is also as messy an eater as her mother!!

Splish Splash!

I was never very good at math, but I do know one equation . . .

Sprinklers + 2 year old = WET and SO MUCH FUN!!!

Savannah loves to play in the sprinklers. She is not affraid of getting wet, even when she gets a sprinkler to the face! Last night we decided to take a little walk to the mailbox, which is really not that far away. About 2 seconds into our short walk Savy was gone! Her dad tried all he could to get her to stop, but she, like always, softened his little heart and he was soon enjoying every minute of watching his girl run.

I love my lighthearted, joyful, beautiful, enjoy every minute, little girl!!!
